George Grieg

Founder & Chairman

George incorporated getITright Ltd. in May 2020 following 4 years with Capita, latterly as the Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) in their Secure Solutions & Services (SSS) business. 

In a career spanning 50+ years, George has spent his working life between the MoD, in the Royal Signals and as a supplier to the Emergency Services (ES) in the UK and globally. 

During the last 20 years he has held executive roles with Anite, Northgate and Sopra Steria prior to Capita. 

George is passionate about Public Safety and wants to challenge the interaction between supplier and customer, with a vision of enhanced collaboration and deeper technical engagement that will drive increased capability, efficiency and effectiveness for our customers. 

The ultimate aim is always to deliver better outcomes for all.

Off the playing field, George is a keen poet and author, with several published books to his name. He is also a public speaker and entrepreneur. His personal endeavours are detailed on his personal website at GeorgeGrieg.com.

Wayne Humberstone

Chief Executive Officer

Wayne was born in Bedford and has maintained a strong connection with the county in both volunteering and public safety roles throughout his life.

Wayne is a dynamic and results-driven executive leader with over three decades of experience within the emergency services and private enterprise. Renowned for his ability to build, inspire, and lead high-performing teams, Wayne combines strategic acumen with ethical governance to deliver sustainable, impactful outcomes.

From steering multimillion-pound projects to shaping national policies, Wayne’s career is marked by innovation, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to excellence. His career has included being an Operational advisor to the Ministry of the Interior within the UAE, Head of Public Contact for Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Police and Director of Operations for a Tech start up.  

Wayne continues his commitment to personal development and has recently achieved a CIPFA Level 7 Diploma in corporate governance, in addition to becoming accredited as “GC Ologist” for the GC Index, to further equip him to support teams in their strategic journeys.

Wayne maintains a passion for Justice and supporting individuals, organisations and communities, and is a Justice of the Peace within Bedfordshire and a trustee for the local community foundation.

Philip Eaton

Director Of Operations

With over 4 decades of Military and Police Service experience, Phil is a highly experienced and adaptable Leader and Project Manager with a strong focus on open and honest communication and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects run smoothly. 

Phil Possesses a proven ability to lead complex projects, proactively manage scope changes, effectively resolve team conflicts, and optimise resource allocation across diverse environments. Adept at data analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning to deliver successful outcomes and drive efficiency. 

Committed to fostering a positive working environment and continuous learning from project experiences. Flexible and capable of adapting approach based on project and sponsor requirements.

Phil has extensive knowledge and experience within first contact, critical communications and front end service delivery.

Phil is also a trustee of a Bedfordshire based charity located in Kempston.
