Bringing Digital Access to the Heart of Kempston
We’re proud to share that our recent collaboration with Project 229 in Kempston has been featured in the local press.
As part of our ongoing commitment to tackling digital exclusion, we’ve donated and installed a free-to-use AccessIT terminal at the Hub Club Café on Bedford Road. This touchscreen device gives local residents easy, barrier-free access to essential online services—including council and police websites, NHS resources, foodbank support, and debt advice—all in one convenient place.

The terminal has been designed with simplicity in mind, offering one-touch access to commonly used services and support for multiple languages. It’s fully managed remotely, ensuring it stays up to date without the need for on-site maintenance.
Project 229 already provides vital support to the Kempston community, from crisis services to adult learning and digital confidence sessions. We’re pleased to contribute a practical tool that helps more people connect to the services they need, especially those facing barriers such as financial hardship or limited access to technology.
This initiative reflects our ongoing partnership with Project 229 and our shared goal of making digital access more inclusive, accessible, and empowering for everyone.
We’d like to thank the team at Project 229 for their incredible work and for continuing to make a meaningful difference in the community.
If your organisation could benefit from our AccessIT Terminals, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
