After more than four decades working across the British Army and the ICT industry, our founder set out with a bold question: could the lessons learned from leadership, integrity, and teamwork be channelled into building a people-first business?

In the midst of the post-COVID world, getITright was founded by two business partners living in Wiltshire, who shared a common purpose: to give back to the sectors that had defined their professional lives — this initially being The Emergency Services, UK Ministry of Defence, and the wider public service community.

Innovation for Life
Innovation is at the heart of getITright. Although we originally planned to develop our own products later in our journey, the realities of the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything. Recognising the enormous pressure faced by Control Room staff in mission-critical environments, we accelerated plans to launch our first product.
proteCtoR™
proteCtoR™ (now Protect-IT) is a unique, biometrically-led software solution designed to proactively support the mental health and wellbeing of frontline staff. Using discreet wearable technology, it monitors heart rate variability to produce a CaReScore, enabling management to identify stress indicators early and take action before issues escalate. It’s a tool designed not just to measure wellbeing — but to protect lives.
Success Builds, all by itself
Building on that success, we’ve continued to innovate, partnering with universities and healthcare providers on new solutions for public accessibility, hospital operations, and IVF prediction.
Navigating the pandemic
Launching a business during a global pandemic was no small challenge. Funding was scarce, uncertainty was high, and risk was inevitable. But our determination remained strong.
We believed that new ideas and entrepreneurial drive were vital to helping the UK “build back better.” That belief led to the creation of a UK/US consortium delivering end-to-end security solutions for Free Ports — supporting national regeneration, job creation, and long-term economic balance.

Despite the challenges of COVID-19, our commitment never wavered. We emerged stronger, more focused, and more determined to deliver on our mission: to make a difference, locally and nationally.
A New Chapter:

Entering our second year, we reshaped our business to align with changing market needs and sharpened our focus on product innovation. With that, we became getITright Ltd Software Solutions & Services.

The Growth of our wider Team
As getITright continued to grow during years 3 and 4, we saw a rapid growth of our specialist associate consultants achieving 25 individuals, all with unique skills and experience selected from across Industry, the Military and Emergency Services and Technology.
Also in this period one of our original founders Simon, left to explore other opportunities.
The 2025 Transformation
Now in our fifth year, Wayne and Phil joined getITright as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Operations, each bringing decades of experience across relevant organisations and specialist fields.
Their arrival marked an exciting new phase of growth and refinement for the company. Our remaining founder George, moved to a role of Chairman.
Under the new leadership, we’ve seen a dynamic rebranding of getITright, including a refreshed logo, website, and most excitingly a revitalisation of our product portfolio.

• Log-IT (formerly omniprIMe) – Is a Comprehensive incident and information management solution.
• Access-IT (formerly COP Hub) – Secures seamless interaction between the public and any organisation, statutory or otherwise that offers digital services and directly addresses internet poverty concerns.
• Protect-IT (formerly proteCtoR) – Remains an advanced wellbeing technology for frontline and high-pressure environments.
